6TH ANNUAL BOUTIQUE BENEFIT - MAY 2012
The Friendship Shelter now manages the Laguna homeless shelter (ASL) in the canyon. One of the Friendship Shelter’s goals for 2012 is to provide homeless clients with MSI, (medical insurance for the homeless in OC). The Friendship Shelter is approved to process MSI applications which require ID, a SS number and proof of residency and income. Helping the homeless obtain these documents often involve fees, transportation and volunteer time. A portion of this year’s Boutique Benefit will fund this much needed service.
